UTOPIA

Have you ever wondered what an ideal society would be like? Are utopian societies always better than the societies we actually live in? 

Back in the 16th century Thomas More wrote about what a "no place" island would be like. He contemplated the idea of a welfare state, religious freedom  or euthanasia as something utopic. In his book there was no private property but each house was allowed to have two slaves.

You are going to watch a short film called Utopia directed by Kosta Nikas in 2019, where we can see how he imagines a future utopian society. I have prepared an activity so you can do as you watch the film and after having watched the film
