I FORGOT MY PHONE

As part of the "Social Media" Lesson plan, I decided to prepare an video activity with my 2 Bachillerato students so that they can have some food for thought. Many times hey have to write or speak about a topic they do not know how to find words or ideas so that they can build a coherent discourse.

The aim of the activities we are dealing with in the classroom is to write a 120-140 words opinion article about the following topic: "Are social media antisocial?"

• How do you feel when you are with other people and don't pay attention to you because they are using their mobile phones?

• What may some of the consequences of social media overuse?
• Do you belive we miss out on real aspects of life when using our social media?
